Our Beliefs
Care4Kids Hope Project is founded on the truth of God's Word and the transforming power of the Gospel. Our ministry is grounded in the following biblical beliefs:
1. The Bible
We believe the Bible, consisting of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and inerrant Word of God. It is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21).
2. God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each person is fully God, yet they are one God (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
3. Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, who lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day (John 1:1, 14; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4).
4. Salvation
We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. No one can be saved by good works, but only through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9; Acts 4:12).
5. The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells all believers, convicts the world of sin, and empowers believers to live godly lives (John 16:8-11; Romans 8:9-11).
6. The Church
We believe the church is the body of Christ, consisting of all true believers, and that local churches are to gather for worship, fellowship, teaching, and service (Ephesians 1:22-23; Acts 2:42-47).
7. Human Nature
We believe all people are created in the image of God but are fallen sinners in need of salvation. Every person has inherent dignity and worth (Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:23).
8. The Family
We believe marriage is between one man and one woman, and that children are a gift from God who should be nurtured in the ways of the Lord (Genesis 2:24; Psalm 127:3; Proverbs 22:6).
9. The Great Commission
We believe all Christians are called to share the Gospel and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20).
10. Care for the Vulnerable
We believe God calls His people to care for orphans, widows, and the vulnerable, reflecting His heart of compassion (James 1:27; Psalm 68:5-6; Isaiah 1:17).
